LAKESHORE SPEECH THERAPY
We are a team of experienced speech-language pathologists that are committed to providing individualized, high-quality and evidence-based treatment for a variety of speech, language and communication needs. We believe that children progress best when they are highly motivated and engaged. We strive to create a dynamic and fun learning environment so that each child can reach their therapy goals through a variety of stimulating activities and games.

We strongly believe that parents are a fundamental part of our team and encourage them to be actively involved in the treatment process. We strive towards empowering parents by providing them with the tools and strategies they need to best support their child on their journey towards social and academic success.

About Claudia
Claudia Hogan, M.Sc.A., S-LP(C) has a clinical degree from McGill University and has been practicing speech-language pathology since 2014. Prior to specializing in speech and language, Claudia earned degrees in child psychology and early childhood education and has enjoyed working with children and their families in a variety of settings for over 20 years. As a clinically certified member of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologists du Quebec (OOAQ) as well as Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC) she is committed to delivering treatment that is based on the highest level of scientific evidence. Claudia's areas of speciality are language and literacy disorders and she offers bilingual (English / French) assessment and treatment of reading disorders (dyslexia) for elementary school-aged children. Claudia is also trained in the Lidcombe Program for preschool stuttering and the Camperdown Program for Stuttering for adolescents and adults who stutter.

About Sue
​
Sue Methé, M. Sc., S-LP(C) is a nationally and provincially certified Speech-Language Pathologist. She has a specialization in Childhood Apraxia of Speech (a motor speech disorder) and is recognized by Apraxia Kids for Advanced Training and Expertise in Childhood Apraxia of Speech. Sue is a graduate of McGill University with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours in Linguistics) in 1991, a clinical Master of Science (applied) in 1995 and a Master of Science (research) in 1996. Her research was conducted in the area of grammar development in children with language disorders. Sue worked 11 years on multidisciplinary teams in pediatric rehabilitation where she specialized in the areas of early intervention (birth to four) and preschool and school-aged speech and language disorders. She also provided clinical supervision to students of Speech-Language Pathology. She opened a private practice in 2006 where she continued to develop her expertise in the areas of Early Intervention (early detection of speech and language difficulties, parent training and treatment) and Childhood Apraxia of Speech. She is certified in the It Takes Two to Talk® — The Hanen Program® for Parents of Children with Language Delays.

About Laura
Laura Polomeno, M.Sc., S-LP(C) has been practicing as a paediatric speech-language pathologist for over 20 years. She has 2 undergraduate degrees from McGill University in Psychology (1991) and Education (1993) and a master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Syracuse University (1995). Laura is a certified member of the Ordre des orthophonistes et audiologistes du Québec (OOAQ) as well as Speech-Language & Audiology Canada (SAC). In addition to private practice, Laura has 15 years of experience working in schools for 2 Montreal school boards. She has also practiced as a clinical supervisor for students of the School of Communication Sciences and Disorders of McGill University. Laura is also specially trained in the Lidcombe Program for stuttering and the Hanen's "It Takes Two to Talk" parent program.
